MR. ANDRE EGAR

Principal Consultant – Finance, Research & Environment

Mr. Egar is an SME Development Expert and a Finance analyst with over Seven years of experience in providing cutting-edge financial solutions to corporate entities and clients. With expertise in corporate finance, research, and advisory, Mr. Egar has successfully consulted and restructured various SMEs to put them on the path of profitability.

Mr. Egar was also a Consultant to the European Union-sponsored value chain improvement project organized for the garment factories in Ghana. He was the lead consultant for the Development and Employment Returning Enterprising Migrants Adding Development and Employment (REMADE) project of the European Union in Ghana. He also consulted for CAMFED Ghana where the team prepared 10 business plans for the organization in the Northern Region for CAMFED’s entrepreneurs.

His financial and business modeling expertise has aided in several training workshops in this field. His core expertise is in the fields of Business Advisory, Financial and Business Planning, Business Valuation, Research, Corporate Restructuring, and Environmental Consulting.

He has actively consulted for several quarries and wood processing companies on restructuring based on their Environmental Management Plans. He was also a member of the technical review committee on the review of Ghana’s environmental and mining laws. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Sociology from the University of Ghana. He also holds the Securities Industry Certificate from the Ghana Stock Exchange. He is a trained SME Consultant by the Commonwealth Secretariat (ComSec).

SYLVESTER AGBESIMEY-MAWUENA

Senior Consultant – Finance and Advisory Services

Sylvester A-Mawuena is versatile and a very competent management professional who has offered over 10 years of service in managerial positions with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting. He is an original thinker with native intelligence, great curiosity, and some level of common sense in solving workplace problems. He possesses an excellent power of observation and the ability to communicate and suggest change in effective but non – threatening ways. Mr A-Mawuena is both confident and self-critical and also has a sense of humour which gives him good interpersonal relationship skills. He possesses excellent communication skills with a proven ability to interact effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and feels comfortable working in a multicultural set-up.

Sylvester’s core competencies include building Client Relationships, offering strategic leadership, organizational structuring, and team building.

Mr A-Mawuena is a member of the Chartered Management Institute (MCMI), UK. He holds an MBA with distinction from the University of South Wales (Glamorgan) UK. Apart from holding a diploma and a degree in accounting from the University of Ghana, he is also proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, as well as software such as Profitbase Sim and Finance, ProClarity, Forecaster, Business Planning and Control System (BPCS), ERP and Optimum Plus.

January 2014 to Date: Sylvester has been actively engaged in managing the finances of various construction projects of Dejabs Company Limited across the country. He is also actively consulting for Village Farms and Redriver Limited under the DFID-sponsored ENGINE project under the auspices of TECHNOSERVE Ghana by providing advisory services and linking them to financing sources.

November 2013 to December 2013: Mr. A-Mawuena worked briefly with Howkrad Group of Companies as its Project Manager in the construction of their five-story real estate project.

November 2012 to October 2013: Mr A-Mawuena worked for Man Capital Group Limited as the General Manager in charge of the microfinance company within the group. His duties among other things include provision of leadership and vision for the company by assisting the CEO and staff with long-range plans. Within the one year, he managed to assist in streamlining the finance systems and the investment portfolio, as well as putting in place an organizational structure and also spearheaded a new payroll structure for the institution. He also initiated work processes and procedures for the various units including Investment, Credit, Operations, and IT.

From June – August 2010: Sylvester consulted for Ideal Finance Limited as an Associate Director, where he helped in the restructuring of the company and also played a key role in raising the initial investment capital needed to start trade financing and credit business of the institution.

Altogether Mr A-Mawuena worked with Vodafone (Ghana Telecom) for over 22 years. While there, He worked in the following departments:

2003 – 2009: Financial Planning and Analysis Department, where he reported to the Head of the Department directly and helped in business planning, preparing annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts, performance analysis, expenditure control, and management reporting.

His greatest achievement in that department was when he developed and successfully implemented a plan to streamline Ghana Telecom’s complex budgeting system in the event of transitioning to an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment. This venture saved the company thousands of US Dollars which would have been paid to external consultants. The effort also earned him two successive out-of-turn- promotions from Finance Manager to Senior Finance Manager and then to Financial Analyst.

JOSHUA CLIFFORD KOFI AMISSAH

Mr. Joshua Clifford Kofi Amissah is a Ph.D. (Candidate) pursuing Management Science and Engineering. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Economics from Jiangsu University (China); and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Administration (Accounting) from Ghana Communication Technology University.

He has provided environmental consulting services to large corporations, ensuring compliance with environmental laws and helping companies reduce their environmental impact, and assisted in preparing a Preliminary Environmental Report and Environmental Management Plan for various Quarry companies in Ghana. He has worked with various environmental agencies to ensure clients adhered to environmental regulations while maintaining financial control.

IMMANUEL FIIFI FYNN

Immanuel Fiifi Fynn is an experienced business development expert with over a decade of work expertise across various industries from hospitality to mining. He’s a graduate of the University of Professional Studies
